Admission & Enrollment

  1. The parents may complete an Enrollment Form and submit to
  2. The students for grade K and higher also need to register with Gorman Learning Center.
  3. Pre-K eligibility: 3.5+ years & must be potty trained.
  4. Grade-K minimum requirement is 5 years of age.

Hours of Operation

8:30 am to 2:00 pm – Elementary

8:00 am to 2:00 pm – 4th Grade+

Monday to Thursday

(except holidays & field trips)

STUDENTS MUST COME ON TIME AND LEAVE ON TIME.

Dress Code & Conduct

Islamic attire is strongly encouraged for both boys & girls.

    Both (boys/girls of all ages):

  • There is no school uniform for the students.
  • Modest, clean clothing must be worn at all times.
  • Tops must be long covering till below hips or lower.
  • While recommend for all, age 8+ must wear full sleeves.
  • No mobile phones or calculators without permission.
  • No discussion or mention of un-Islamic practices.
  • Boys/girls must be segregated with no physical contact.
  • Fads will be addressed as necessary.
  • NOT ALLOWED: shorts, skirts, sleeveless shirts, ties, jewelery, make up, lipstick, nail polish, body paint, dyed or bleached hair, toys or gadgets from home.

Boys: must wear modest clothing and are encouraged to wear Sunnah clothings kurta / jubba with shalwar / trousers without covering the ankles, and a Kufi cap.

Girls: must wear modest and loose cloths with a head scarf or hijab. Henna/mehndi and earrings are permitted.

All students MUST use respectful language and tone with the teacher and one another at all times. No foul, vulgar, or insulting language or words, and no violence is tolerated.

Lunch & Snacks

Parents will provide lunch daily. Food cannot be shared with other students.

NOTE: Please provide good breakfast before school.

ONLY HALAL FOOD ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.

Islamic Holidays

  • Muharram – 9th & 10th
  • Sha'baan – 15th
  • Ramadan – One month vacation
  • Eid-ul-Fitr – 1st – 3rd of Shawwaal
  • Eid-ul-Adha – 8th – 13th Zil-Hijjah

All holidays are based on local moon sighting.

Breaks & Vacations

  • Spring Break – One week in March/April
  • Summer Vacation – 1.5 to 2 months summer vacation
  • Labor Day – First Monday of September
  • Autumn Break – One week in October/November
  • Winter Break – Ten days starting the last week of December and ending in January

Tuition & Fees

Membership FeeThe annual fee can be paid one time for $100 discount, or paid in 10 month installments.
Sibling DiscountSibling discount is available.
Returned Checks$25 fee for any returned check
Admission Fees$100 refundable and paid towards first month of tuition fees
Administrative Fee$200 refundable if you volunteer 40 hours annually
AbsenteesMissed days will not be deducted
Late PickupA fee of $5 will be charged every extra 15 minutes
Quran ClassesFree of charge offered by the Masjid (Optional; Not part of the curriculum)
